In the seventies Warhol dedicated a series of portraits to the sports champions, including Franz Beckenbauer, a former German defender, a true football legend who, with his vision and his talent, has guaranteed the greatest contribution to the history of football of those years. It is a unique work and presents the original stamps of the Warhol Foundation in New York.
